So I got into a conversation with a friend about the music I like compared to his.
We like close to the same sort... Rock, Metal, whatever.
I told him I was listening to a band called xTRiPx and he immediately asked me if it were in English.
I told him no, Japanese and he said then I won't listen to it.
He explained to me why, and it was basically turned into this:
I won't listen because if I translate it to English, it would sound the same.
And then he went on from there, talking about his preferences, and I can totally understand that.
I wonder if it might be the diversity, tied along with the preference mojo.
I mean, I do listen to a lot of the same stuff; Jrock and a small amount of Kpop... But is the language that important? I mean, sure I can't understand most of it, but so what? Who cares?
I mean, I do listen to music in languages... French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portugese, Spanish, and of course, English! But... Its not like I just stick to one...
Anyway, he agreed to listening to some songs I sent him... :D
